Although we are hard at work developing more programs, at this time we only have one and it is for Essentials of Nursing Care: Health Safety

Why should I invest in your computer-based program?

Taking a computer-based program for most is a new experience. Most are accustom to traditional pencil/paper exam and if prepared find the experience minimally stressful.

Our exam's are developed to be as close to the real thing as possible with NCLEX styled questions. Think of it as a meter that if used can give true indication of how prepared one is before taking the exit exam at Pearson Vue.

If your academic success is not worth a minimal investment of less than $50 (cost of our program)--please--invest $75 and purchase Excelsior's Internet-based practice exam!  You will find each dollar invested to be "Money Well Spent".

Essentials of Nursing Care: Health Difference

We currently are working on the Essentials of Nursing Care: Health Difference computer-based practice exam and hope to release it by the end of October 2011. 

Do you offer practice exam bundles?

We do not at this time because we only have one program available; however, as more programs are released we may offer bundles. 

How do you view  a detailed report in Health Safety Practice Exam?

To view the detailed report, open notepad. Click file, then open. If the program was installed using the default pathway follow this path: C:\program file\health safety exam\\quiz\quiz report\exam.txt

Note: Exam A will be called exam a.text, exam b will be called exam b.txt, and the main exam called main exam.txt 

Program will not install

Each CD goes through a QI process before it is shipped to the customer.
The CD contains an installer program. Please make sure the CD-Rom player's autorun feature is on.

As an option, please use "My Computer" to open the install program:
Click on "My Computer"
Select the drive the CD is placed in
Place mouse cursor over that drive and right click your mouse
Left click on "Explore"
Now you will see the content of the disk. Left click on either "Setup.exe" or "Install.exe"
The installer program will not install the program.

How can I view answers to questions I missed on Health Safety Practice Exam?

It depends on which version you have. The most current version is 0.0013.  This version makes it easier to view a detailed exam report for each exam session you completed. We are in the process of emailing everyone with an earlier version to suggest they download this version. We will use the email address that you used when you order the program. 

How can I report a problem with a program or make comment(s) about it?

How can I view answers to questions answered incorrectly on an exam session?

The program has two ways to navigate to the Report's Menu--make sure you have vs 0.004; if you do not I will send you a link to download it.

The first way is from the main menu and the second is after completing an exam session by clicking on a button at the bottom of the frame.

From the Report's Menu you will be able to view an exam report for every test you have taken previously.

While viewing the Report's Menu  you will see a frame in the upper left corner. Within this frame will be a list of previous exam sessions.

Follow theses steps:

• click on a previous exam session. example click on "examA001.txt"
• left mouse click on the "view report button"
• exam a (first exam session for exam a) will populate  in the center text frame
• to print it click on the print button.

Based on which exam report you are viewing, the report may be very long if you print it.
